iMovie Trailers
Using iMovie on the iPads is a great way to record school events such as Launch and Landing Pads. Its really easy to use, load up iMovie and select Create new trailer. Follow the prompts to film the children and add in the words at the end.
It creates a really exciting and quick record of any event! Save them all in the S drive under Movies and Movie Trailers.
Any questions please ask.
I have set up this blog to share some of the creative ideas I use in school and demonstrate how effective use of ICT can impact across the curriculum. Our aim is to have iPads on a 1:1 basis for all children and teachers in year 4, 5 and 6. Please feel free to use any of these ideas in your classroom and make comments to share your great ideas!

Lego stop motion animation
Over the past few weeks the Year 5 children have been making Stop Motion Animations using a great app called I Can Animate. They created a background scene using an old photocopy paper box and made it look like the wild west.
Next they used their Lego figures to create their short film. The children soon understood that he more photos they took, the better their film would be!
Once that was finished we exported the movies onto the iMacs and used iMovie to add sounds, music and text to tell the story! The children loved their final outcomes which will be sent home to the parents.
Let me know if the video below works!
